Hi Ken,

Long time, no chat... I hope things are going well for you. I (think I?) will be auditioning for Dragon's Den in March - excited and freaked lol! The business is going gangbusters. I just finished writing my business plan to get properly funded - it was a long haul while running the business! I am now in 70 stores in 10 countries. I also just got a mentor through the Women's Enterprise Centre. I'm not sure if you know but one of my sales reps started her own distribution company last July and is now our distributor. I think that's all my news for now... I will let you know if I get on the "The Den".

Hi Ken,

Great to hear from you. Business is MOVING along well. I added another truck in
November and I'm looking forward to another busy spring/ summer. I am continuing
my partnership with Mini Move on one truck for the time being. I also have a smaller
truck working for me as an agent (similar to what I do with Mini Move. I joined the
BBB a few months back which has been quite effective. I will be posting some more updated pictures soon to this site and I'm working on a more effective website. That's a
brief update for now but I will continue to add some more when the time allows.
I'd love to get together for a coffee when time permits.

Hi Ken,

Still exceeding sales forecasts for direct sales and my sales rep has been making bonus every month for 3 months running now. Our other sales rep (that has experience with bigger chains) is talking to Shoppers Drug Mart. We have already shipped samples and are now doing a presentation direct to store in 4 locations in the lower mainland at the request of the buyer back east. So hoping for a 25-50 store "test" order soon.

I have run into a bit of a hiccup with my US Patent, however, nothing that time (and money unfortunately) won't take care of I'm sure.

How are things with you? Keeping busy I presume?

My good friend Julie was a limo driver and she picked me up in her limo the day I graduated- she even made me a custom lace grad hat

As for the mink..it was a faux fur coat..but it looked real

I remember lots of people being shocked at my business idea (Lingerie for larger women) and at the time wasnt the boom it is now.

I sold my designs to BBW magazine (Big Beautiful Woman- owned by Larry Flynt and ran by his daughter)
So I guess I was ahead of my time..

Just couldnt afford designs being made in Canada (unions) all lingerie companies of any large size are manufactured in the Phillippines and China now (In exception for high-end french and italian companies)

Anyways..I hope to fun into you at some point in the future.

I am in the process of a new business venture and would love some feedback from Venturers

Yes I am the same person from the program over 10 years ago (we were one of the first)

I have fond memories of the program and remember you and Peter well.
My business that I came to the program with became very successful because of many things I learned in that program.

I sold that business to an American firm years ago and I am now a total geekesse and web developer extrordinairre :)

Good to see you are still involved.
